The Series 4000 MA 12mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece (1.25"), with Cord. This special-purpose eyepiece for guiding during long exposure astrophotography features illuminated crosshairs, so that the lines are clearly visible against a dark sky. For use with a Meade Off-Axis Guider. Comes with a 6' cord and connector for direct plug-in to the control panels of Meade models such as the LX200-ACF which have an illuminated reticle jack (see the telescopes instruction manual for details on use and reticle brightness and other controls ). Night vision preserving red LED illumination and rubber eyeguard for comfort and blocking distracting stray light.
