The Rear Cell #1A Skylight Filter increases visual and photographic contrast, decreases glare and helps to penetrate haze in a light-polluted observing area such as a city. Threads onto the rear cells of all Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain and ACF model telescopes including LX90 and LX200-ACF. All other rear cell accessories which would normally thread straight to the scope may then be threaded to the filter. The high quality glass of the filter means negligible loss of light and image sharpness in most applications. As a side benefit the filter effectively seals the interior of the telescope from dust.
