The Meade DS-2000 models are easy to operate but sophisticated, fully computer-guided GO TO telescopes. The Meade DS-2080AT-LNT Altazimuth Refractor comes with a lens aperture of 80mm (3.1"), focal length of 800mm and focal ratio of f/10. The complete package includes the Meade DS-2000 single arm mount with #494 AutoStar computerized keypad with over 1400 object library database and automatic tracking and GOTO. Adjustable height aluminum tripod for comfortable viewing from either a seated or standing position, AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition Software and Instructional DVD, two high quality Meade Series 4000 1.25" Super Plössl Eyepieces (9.7mm, 26mm) and Red Dot Viewfinder. The easy to use mount features advanced electronics to make alignment easy, including Meade's Level North Technology (LNT), an electronic level sensor, electronic magnetic north sensor, and internal clock. Optional image erecting prism may be used (not included) for terrestrial viewing where a non-inverted (upright and correct left to right image) is desired.
