This convenient tray secures to the threaded rod and provides a place to keep eyepieces and other accessories off the ground and easy to reach while observing. The Accessory Shelf consists of a round, flat surface with a lip to prevent items from rolling off. Aluminum with black powder coat finish. Simply slides onto the threaded rod of the tripod (noting correct orientation with the lip of the tray facing upwards) and then the telescope mounts to the tripod normally. Compatible with and for use on all Meade Standard Field and Giant Field tripods including those provided as standard equipment with the Meade 8 though 14" SCT and ACF models past and present such as the LX90 and LX200 series telescopes.
