Considered a necessity by serious astrophotographers, the #647 Flip-Mirror System (2") w/UHTC allows you to use both an eyepiece and a camera and instantly flip between the two in order to rapidly locate, center, and focus on a target. Eliminates need to mount and dismount camera and change back to eyepiece possibly disturbing pointing or focus in the process. Threads onto rear cell thread of all past and current Meade SCT and ACF models such as the LX90 and LX200 series. Accepts any 2" diameter eyepiece (not included). Adapter for 1.25" eyepieces included. Features Meade Ultra-High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) for maximum image brightness and two extension tubes for making your parafocal eyepiece as well as 2-axis mirror adjustment screws and locks for ultra-precise image centering (user adjustable, instuctions included). Meade stock number 07569 1.25" Adapter available for attachment to Meade APO refractors and other models with 1.25" focusers, sold seperately.
